EAST NATCHITOCHES NEWS - MARCH 17, 1905

All is quiet in East Natchitoches this week with the exception of the shoot
which took place over here on Wednesday last. All the racket seemed to be over
in the business part of the town, but we enjoy a racket now and then mixed
with a little confetta and good nature.

Mr. D Sanders and wife of Mansfield, spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs Scarborough
of East Natchitoches.

Mrs RC Boydston also had quite a number of pleasant callers in the afternoon.

Mr Smith, representing WF Taylor & Co. Of Shreveport was a business caller on
F Rachel of East Natchitoches, who is doing a nice little business in the
grocery line.

The residence of Mr. Charley O'Quin is nearing completion and from all
accounts there will be several more built before summer. When started with
Boydstun and O'Quin as contractors they will go up as if by magic.

The Company is doing some nice work on the Park, and with some grading on the
streets much will be added to the needs of East Natchitoches.
