He fell off a counter in his store some days ago. Mr. J. H. Henry of Melrose was a visitor during the week. He is all smiles because the Stork added another son to his family recently. That makes an even half dozen. One of E. B. Winbarg's customers bought a bale of hay from him the other day. Mr. Winbarg charged him 75 cents for the bale. The customer remonstrated and said that "Joe," meaning Joe Lawson, Winbarg's porter and delivery driver, had been selling him hay for 50 cents. Thereby hung the tale. Joe was caught stealing--but he got wind of the fact that his boss was next and skipped out.
