Lots of cotton has been chopped and if this good weather continues everything will soon be looking fine. Misses Lille, Lillian and Ethel Futrell were visitors to Natchitoches Saturday evening and attended the Paul English Players tent show. Mrs Lige Jones and charming little baby are visiting Mrs Jones' parents, Mr and Mrs Jackson of Robeline. "Patches," we sure enjoyed your news. Keep coming. Mr Fillette and Misses Neva and Nina Stroud and Mr WG Strong were Sunday afternoon visitors at the home of Mr Dalme. Miss Ruby Fisher and Messrs N. and Floyd Fisher of Robeline were recent visitors here as the guest of their uncle and aunt, Mr and Mrs W.R. Sibley. Quite a crowd attended the text show in town Saturday afternoon. Some of those that attended were: Mrs Joseph Dalme, Misses Marguerite and Leontine Dalme, Mrs Huddleston and Miss Dollie Mae Huddleston. They report a nice time and a good show with fine acting and music. Mr and Mrs A.E .Stroud were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs Walter Gongre of Bermuda. ======================================================================== NATCHITOCHES R.F.D. - SEPT 1922 Natchitoches Times Sept 29, 1922 Mr Frank Dalme left on Monday September 25th for Haynesville after spending a few days with home folks and friends. Mr and Mrs H.T. Futrell and little daughter, Kathline Honery, were visitors to Spanish Lake on Sunday to be guest of Mr and Mrs John Freeman. Mrs Freeman returning home with her sister Mrs Futrell to spend a few days. ======================================================================= NATCHITOCHES R.F.D. - OCTOBER 1922 Natchitoches Times Oct 6, 1922 Miss Dollie Mae Huddleston was the charming guest of her cousins, Mr and Mrs E Jones this week-end. Mr and Mrs E Jones entertained the young set on Friday night with a dance. About ten o'clock refreshments of cake and fruit punch was served. All report a nice time. Miss Marguerite, Leontine, and Mr Charlie Dalme were guest at the home of Mr S D Stroud last Sunday. Mr H T Futrell was a visitor to Alexandria on Friday. Mrs S. O. Stroud and little daughters, Ruth and Billy Louise of Natchitoches were guests of Mr Stroud's father and brothers and sisters for a few days. Mr Stroud came up Saturday night and Sunday evening their brother G. W. Stroud accompanied them home. Mr Louise Landrum was the guest of his brother and sister on Sunday. Mr Lawrence Dalme was a visitor to Montgomery last week. Miss Lallah Campbell was the guest of Miss Maude Ethel Brett this week-end. Master Edward McEllard was the Sunday guest of Mater Harry Futrell on Sunday.
