Mr. Patrick Coffee visited the family of D.E. Smith Sunday. Mrs. Shull of Grappes bluff is spending a while with Mrs. Ramsey. Mr. Jim Roy has returned from Alexandria where he has been working. Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Smith spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Desadier of Clarence. Mrs. Roy was called to Provencal by the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Sanders. Mr. Horance Futtrel and family from Cane River spent Sunday with Mr. John Freeman and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Gallien are the proud parents of a fine girl. Mrs. Harrell spent Sunday with Mrs. Sallie Smith The ball players, John Gallien, Leo Gallien, Dolph Berry and Willie McLean joined the boys from town and went to Campti Sunday. Misses Laura Bloodsworth and Dora McLean went to see the ball game at Campti Sunday. Mr. John Gibbs from Hyams visited his mother, Mrs. LL Gibbs Wednesday night. The young folks are expecting to have the news in next week's paper saying that the Natchitoches ball team win Sunday if all are present. "BROWN EYES"
