LUTHER BRAXTON

NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Luther Braxton will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in
Greater New Testament Church with the Rev. Willie Warren officiating. Burial
will be in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery under direction of Ridgley,
Natchitoches.
Braxton, 56, of Natchitoches died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, in Schumpert Medical
Center, Shreveport.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Beasley of Natchitoches; four sons, Patrick
L. Braxton, Luther Braxton Jr., Carl Braxton and Gary Lynn Braxton, all of
Natchitoches; seven daughters, Cynthia Braxton, Christina Braxton, Wanda
Braxton, Denise Braxton, Sherry Braxton, Felicia Braxton and Tabitha Braxton,
all of Natchitoches; his mother, Leifus Anthony of Natchitoches; one brother,
Major Anthony of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Laffie Burton of Missouri and
Mable Below of Natchitoches; and 14 grandchildren.
