Jan. 29, at 6:25 p.m. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, in the St. John's Catholic Church in Many, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Father Norman Buvens, and Msgr. T. J. Lennon officiated. Graveside rites were held at 1 p.m., in the Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. A rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Sunday night. He is survived by his wife; three sons, James L. Clanan of Port Arthur, Tex., Albert Clanan, El Paso, and Allen Clanan of Natchitoches; three daughters, Mrs. Jermaine Powell of Merryville, Mrs. Cecelia Hebert, Ragley, and Mrs. Elma Abraham, Natchitoches; a brother, William Clanan, Hempill, a sister, Mrs. Jermaine DeKeyzer of Many; 30 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were the members of Floyd Jordan Post No. 172 of the American Legion.
