Daniel Collins 
  
  Funeral services for Daniel B. Collins, 79, of Shreveport, were 
conducted at 9 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, in First National Funeral 
Home, by the Rev. W. D. Martin, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. 
  
  Burial with graveside Masonic rites was in the Goldonna Cemetery 
in Goldonna. 
  
  Mr. Collins died at 3:40 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the Midway 
Manor Nursing Home, following an extended illness. 
  
  He was a native of Zwolle, and had resided in the Shreveport 
area 30 years. He was a self-employed painter, and a member of 
the Goldonna Lodge F & AM. 
  
  He is survived by a son, James A. Collins of Shreveport, and two 
grandchildren.
