Dykes Charlie DeWitt Dykes, 90, of Coushatta, died in a Coushatta nursing home Tuesday, July 13. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, in the Beulah Methodist Church near Marthaville. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. L. J. Buter of Baton Rouge. Mrs. George Bridges of Pelican, Mrs. A. B. Dickerson of Coushatta; one son L. T. Dykes of Needles, Calif., one brother, Tom Dykes of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Clements of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. H. L. McCullough of Mansfield; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
