James Poole officiating. Burial will be under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis. Edwards, 87, of Natchitoches died Thursday, May 14, 1998, in Natchitoches. He was a native of Memphis, Tenn., and he moved to Louisiana in 1925. He was involved in the television business for many years, having started one of the first television stores in the area. He was active in the Masonic Lodge and was a member of Blue Lodge, Royal Arch, the Council and the Commandry. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Simpson Edwards of Natchitoches; two daughters; Dr. Billie C. Edwards and Joan Breedlove, both of Natchitoches; and one granddaughter.
