Flex Eldridge

  Felix Eldridge, 68, of Provencal, died in New Orleans, Sept. 20, after an extended
illness.

  Funeral services were held in Free Methodist Church of Provencal Sept. 22, with the Rev.
Schumate and the Rev. Barnes officiating. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include two sons, Edgar, and Roy Eldridge, both of Baton Rouge; three brothers,
Floyd of St. Augustine, Tex., Virgil of Port Arthur, and Elza of Robeline; three sisers,
Mrs. Exie West of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. Edna Sellers of Houston, and Mrs. Pat Strickland
of Shreveport; and eight grandchildren.
