He is survived by three sons, Otha and Calvin Farmer, both of Shreveport, Edie Farmer of Marthaville; a brother, Curt Farmer of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Russell of Mansfield, and Mrs. J. B. Melton of Shreveport; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Rocky Springs Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and the Rev. Jason Kay officiating. Burial was in Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Pat Farmer, Glen Hardy, Jimmy Farmer, and Philip Brian.
