AMY ELIZABETH FERGUSON
Alexandria Town Talk, April 2, 1998

NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Amy Elizabeth Ferguson will be at 10 a.m. Friday
in First Baptist Church with Drs. Scott Shaver and J. Bradley Creed
officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery under direction of
Blanchard-St. Denis.

Mrs. Ferguson, 57, of Natchitoches died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, in her
residence.

She was a native of Olla and a 1963 graduate of Louisiana Polytechnic
Institute. She worked as an office manager for 16 years and an active member
of First Baptist Church for 30 years. She was a member of PEO, past president
of Chapter "I", and member of the Lunch Bunch and many other organizations.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Jerry Glynn Ferguson of Natchitoches; two
sons, the Rev. Jerry Glynn Ferguson Jr. of Paris, Texas, and Winston Bradley
Ferguson of Natchitoches; one brother, William Nathan Cabaniss of Houston,
Texas; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Avery East, Gary Anderson, Shawn Daily, Mike Murphy, Louis
Hines, Jimmy Long Sr., Clyde Osborn, Tom Murchinson, Benny Barron and Robert
Harling.
