Newell D. Fleming

  Newell D. Fleming, 57, of Marthaville, died Monday, March 25, at
1:15 p.m., from an extended illness.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m., at
the Marthaville First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donald
Doughty officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Magdalene Fleming of Marthaville;
one son, The Rev. Brent Fleming of Many; one daughter, Sheree
Fleming of Marthaville; one brother, Charles R. Fleming of San
Antono; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Kelly of Shreveport, and Mrs.
Ezell Culpepper of Jonesboro; and one grandson.
