SARAH M. GIVENS
Alexandria Town Talk, Mar 10, 1998

MARCO -- Services for Sarah M. Givens will be at 1 p.m. today in St. Mary
Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Wallace officiating. Burial will be in St. 
Davis Baptist Church Cemetery, Cloutierville, under direction of Winnfield,
Natchitoches.
Mrs. Givens, 92, of Natchitoches died Saturday, March 7, 1998, in Natchitoches
Parish Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Gussie Charley of Mt. Clemons, Mont., and James
Givens Sr. of Alexandria; six daughters, Dorothy Benjamin and Emily Gistarb,
both of Alexandria, Gladys Miles and Willie D. Smith, both of Lena, and
Alberta Swanson and Bobbie Davison, both of Houston, Texas; 17 grandchildren,
21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
