Alexandria Daily Town Talk, October 11, 1967:

Sarah Elizabeth Martin Goins, 93, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 
1967, in a Natchitoches hospital.  She was a resident of Mora, La., the widow 
of Eli Goins, and the daughter of Vianna Goins and Rankin Wiley (R.W.) Martin.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove 
Baptist Church in Mora.  Burial will be in the church cemetery under the 
direction of  the First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches.
She is survived by four sons, Ronald (R W) Goins of Lafayette, Dan Goins of 
Ruston, Sidney Goins of Shreveport, and Pullman Goins of Mora; five 
daughters, Mrs Minnie Bolton, Mrs. Ella Martin and Mrs. Leta Coburn, all of 
Mora, Mrs. Louise Roberts of Shreveport and Mrs. Rene Roberts of 
Natchitoches; one brother, William Wiley Martin of Alexandria; 25 
grandchildren, and 64 great-grandchildren.
