Lewis Rodey Dean Lewis, 23, of Marthaville, died Saturday night, Apr. 10, in an automobile accident near Clarence on Black Lake. Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and employed as a construction iron worker. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Apr. 12, in the Robeline United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. O. E. Wyatt officiating. Burial was in the Shamrock Cemetery near Robeline, directed by Blanchard's Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Lana Lee Lewis of Marthaville; four brothers, Mariet D. Lewis of Shreveport, Mickey Lewis, Rickey Lee Lewis, and Billy Ray Lewis, all of Marthaville; three sisters, Mrs. Sherry Humphries of Monroe, Patricia Kay Lewis, and Debbie Jane Lewis, both of Marthaville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marit D. Lewis of Marthaville.
