Lilly, 71, of Shreveport, died at 9:20 a.m., Saturday, in Physicians and Surgeons Hospital, after a short illness. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roy E. Mouser, pastor of Mangum Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Clarence Berley. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville. Mrs. Lilly had resided in Shreveport for 10 years, and was a native of Marthaville. She was a retired school teacher from Sabine Parish schools, and a member of the Mangum Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Workers Sunday School Class. Survivors include one son, W. G. Lilly of Florien; two daughters, Madeline Lilly, and Mrs. R. H. Huffman, both of Shreveport; her mother, Mrs. C. M. Durr of Marthaville; four brothers, Leo Durr, John Durr, Lester Durr, and Bert Durr, all of Marthaville; three sisters, Jo Evelyn Newman of Lake Charles, Alice Bruce, and Roberta Hilton, both of Shreveport; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lamar Salter, Joe Anderson, Dick Miller, Haskell Lowe, Will Lott, and Melvin Miller.
