  Mr. Jack C. Manasco

  Mr. Jack C. Manasco, 56, of Union Grove died Tuesday, Jan. 6 In a
Longview, Texas hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 at Calvary
Christian Tabernacle with interment following at Rosewood Park
Cemetery. Pastor A. D. Spears officiated.

  Mr. Manasco was a native of Robeline and was a resident for 18 years.
He was a member of the Calvary Christian Tabernacle, member of the
Alpine Golf Club and was a truck driver for MCX Transports. He was
employed at Hilyard Drilling Co. for 15 years and was a manager for
ARDCO Industries for seven years.

  Survivor include his widow, Betty of Union Grove; one son Jack
Manasco, Jr. of Longview, Texas; two grandsons, Wesley and Corey
Manasco of Longview, Texas; mother, Eula Manasco of Laurel, Miss.;
four sisters, Gertie Doherty, Carolyn Reeves and Nelda Robinson, all
of Laurel, Miss. and Barbara Seals of Lucedale, Miss.; two brothers,
Cecil Manasco of Laurel, Miss. and David Manasco of Hugo, Okia.; and
a number of nieces and nephews.

  Memorials may be made to the Calvary Christian Tabernacle or the
American Cancer Society.
