Mr. Metoyer was a son of F. B. Metoyer Sr. and married to Jean Lemee. He leaves three brothers, Allen and Frank of this city, and Claude who lives in New Orleans, and two sisters, Mrs. Lisa and Amy of this city. He had lived in New Orleans for many years and held the responsible position of City Drummer for the wholesale company of Sclaspoller and Sons, for 18 years. Some months ago he was hopelessly stricken with heart trouble and brought here to the home of his sisters, Mrs. Lisa and Amy, who nursed him with all the tenderness and devotion possible. The times joins the community in condolences to the extensive family connections and large circle of friends in the lost of this good man.
