JEFFERSON DAVIS DEBLIEUX A Mass for Mrs. Jefferson Davis DeBlieux Jr., 94, of Natchitoches, will be Saturday, April 13 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery in Natchitoches. Visitation will be Friday, April 12 from 5-7:30 p.m. with a Christian wake service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Marie Dell Roubieu DeBlieux died Thursday, April 11, 2002, in her residence at Natchitoches. She was a native of Campti, but moved to Natchitoches at a very early age. Known to her many friends as "Miss Pat,' she was the daughter of Robert Buford Roubieu and Ophelia Prudhomme. She was born July 4, 1907. Miss Pat believed in love of life and never missed a chance to play bridge or go to a party. Stories about her humor are legendary. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, where she attended Mass on a daily basis. She was a founder of the Court Regina chapter of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Service League of Natchitoches and the Association for the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Davis DeBlieux Jr.; her half sister, Fleta Rouieu; and her oldest and youngest sons, Jefferson Davis DeBlieux III of Houma and Victor Dale DeBlieux of Natchitoches. She is survived by her son, Robert Buford DeBlieux of Natchitoches; two daughters-in-law, Mary Lee DeBlieux of Houma and Patricia Green DeBlieux of Natchitoches; six grandchildren, Jeff DeBlieux IV and Jon Lee DeBlieux of Houma, Melissa DeBlieux Ward of St. Louis, Mo., Camille DeBlieux Davis and Dene' DeBlieux Mathis of Baton Rouge, and Tonya DeBlieux Ivey of Natchitoches; and 15 great-grandchildren. PERRY WILLIAMS Services for Perry Williams, 91, of Natchitoches will be held Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery in Robeline under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis. A native of Fisher, Mr. Williams died Wednesday, April 11, 2002, in Natchitoches after a lengthy illness. He was a retired butcher and a member of First Baptist Church in Robeline. He was also a member of the Robeline Masonic Lodge #344 and the Nakatosh Shrine Club. Survivors include a sister, Margurite Smith of Rosepine, and a brother, James W. Williams of Conroe, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Sibley Williams. Pallbearers will be Larry, Jerry, George and Dean Lambert, Dr. Robert Alost and Wes Alost. Honorary pallbearers will be the Robeline Masonic Lodge. Visitation will be Friday, April 12 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. April 11 2002 issue DORIS MOORE WILKERSON Services for Mrs. Doris Moore Wilkerson, 77, of Natchitoches were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Revs. John Foster and Riley Sanson officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery in Natchitoches under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilkerson was a native of Harrisburg, Pa., and a resident of Natchitoches for the past 55 years. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Otis Wilkerson; two sons, Cary Wilkerson and his wife, Pam, of Boise, Idaho, and Phillip Wilkerson and wife, Mary Lu, of Natchitoches; four grandchildren; four brothers, Irvin Moore of Harrisburg, Pa., John A. Moore and wife, Ginna, of Shreveport, Donald Moore and wife, Peggy, of Henderson, Nev., and Ronald Moore of Saginaw, Mich.; and one sister, Shirley Moore Miller and husband, George, of Harrisburg, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Center in Memphis, Tenn. April 20-21, 2002 issue ALVINITA METOYER Services for Alvinita Metoyer, 92, of Cloutierville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at Cloutierville with the Rev. Gerald Bordelon officiating. Burial will be in Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Metoyer died Monday, April 15, 2002, in her residence at Cloutierville. April 6-7, 2002 issue THEDA FOSHEE YOUNGBLOOD Services for Theda Foshee Youngblood, 72, of Marthaville were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with the Rev. Bob Salley officiating. Burial was in Marthaville Cemetery. Mrs. Youngblood died Monday, April 1, 2002, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital Long Term Care Unit. She was a native of Natchitoches, a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church at Marthaville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Molly Foshee; son, George Louis Youngblood; and a sister, Gwendolyn Rose Foshee. Survivors include her husband, Louis M. Youngblood of Marthaville; one son, Charles Youngblood of Natchitoches; one daughter, Dawnelle Lemoine and her husband, James, of Natchitoches; three grandchildren, Sharon Frame and her husband, Jeremy, James Richard Lemoine and Tara Elizabeth Bradford; and one great-grandchild, Madison Elizabeth Lemoine. Pallbearers were Jeremy Frame, James R. Lemoine, John Bradford, Danny Hall, Denny Parks and Ted Youngblood.
