Sharp, 89, of Vowells Mill died Friday, July 30, 1999, in Evangeline Nursing Home, Natchitoches. He was a retired farmer and a member of New Cedron Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Pallbearers were Donald Sharp, Joey Sharp, Lester Kay, Leroy Gallien, Charles Penrod Jr. and Harold Pitts. IVY NIETTE Funeral services for Ivy Niette, 74, of Coushatta were held Monday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. t St. George Catholic church with Msgr. Earl Provenza officiating. Burial followed in Hand Cemetery under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta. Mr. Niette died Friday, July 30, 1999. He was survived by a wife, Hazel Niette of Coushatta; two sons, Glynn Niette of Denham Springs and Terry Niette of Leesville; two daughters, Jean Omishea of Shreveport and Dianna Pickett of Mansfield; three brothers, William Niette, L. C. BREAZEALE Funeral services are pending for Clarice H. Breazeale, 90, who died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999 at Bethany Nursecare Center. Interment will take place in Holy Mary, Mother of God Mausoleum in Lafayette under the direction of Delhomme Funeral Homes. Mrs. Breazeale was the only child of the late Irwin Ellis Henderson and the former Pearly Hall. She was born in DeKalb, Miss., on Oct. 14, 1908 She attended Northwester State College in Natchitoches where she met and married Wood A. Breazeale, Sr., who preceded her in death in Natchitoches on Dec. 29, 1950. They had one child, Wood A. Breazeale, Jr., a resident of Lafayette. She later located her business, Clarice Breazeale Interior Design, to Lafayette to be near her family. She was also instrumental in the development of Ikebana International into Louisiana and abroad. Mrs. Breazeale is survived by one son, Wood A. Breazeale, Jr., and his wife, Olive Drago; four grandchildren, Roanne Dueitt of Greensboro, N. C., Valerie Breazeale and Beryl Beaullieu, both of Lafayette and Wood A. Breazeale, III of Atlanta, Ga.; and seven grandchildren, Joseph and Olivia Landes, Desire, Chelsea and Brittany Staires, Dillon and Brooke Beaullieu. Pallbearers will be Wood A. She was a native of Shreveport, a member of Westside Baptist Church in Natchitoches and a retired legal secretary for the 10th Judicial District Court Judges Office. She was a member of Les Amies of Natchitoches, Service League, Natchitoches chapter of Business and Professional Women where she was a charter member, Natchitoches Parish Hospital Pink Ladies and Association for the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Patrick Kelley, Jr. of Angleton, Texas and Kevin Sean Kelley of Montgomery; one daughter, Lucille Kelley Godrow of Natchitoches; four grandchildren, Charly Nicole Kelley of Natchitoches, Joseph Ryan Kelley and Justin Taylor Kelley of Angleton, Texas and Riley Glenn Goodrow of Natchitoches; and one brother, Donald H. She was a native of Robeline, a member of Cypress Baptist Church and former co-owner of a restaurant. Smith and Sons with Rev. Robert Tillery officiating. Burial followed in Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson, Tenn. Wand, beloved wife, mother and daughter, died Thursday morning, Aug. 12 at her residence after a year-long battle with cancer. Wand was born in Maryland on March 16, 1953. She grew up and was educated in Natchitoches, La., and attended Northwestern State University. For the last few years she was employed by Trinity Christian Academy as a bus driver and substitute teacher. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and the West Tennessee Emmanus Community. Wand began her journey with Christ in 1987 being an obedient and faithful servant. Her love for Christ and others was demonstrated in her life and was evident in her daily walk. She touched many people and showed love to them by her selfless acts of kindness, never forgetting where her strength came from. She leaves a legacy that is eternal. Survivors include her husband, Ricky W. White of Jackson, Tenn.; one son, Matthew F. White of Jackson, Tenn.; her mother, Gladys Lloyd of Natchitoches; one sister, Barbara Yawn of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Darryl W. Lloyd of Tacoma, Wash.; and David Lloyd of Castor.
