Charles Bates and Rev. Doyle Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Natchitoches under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Antley died Wednesday, September 26, 2001 in Natchitoches after a lengthy illness. He owned and operated a saw mill and was one of the founders of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nettie Brown Antley of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one son, Alvin Lee Antley and wife Jerree of Jal, N. M.; four grandchildren, Craig Van Meter and wife Kim of Natchitoches, Larry Antley and wife Cendy of Kermit, Texas, Tracey Antley of Jal, N. M., and Kelly Elliott and husband Bill of Jal, N. M.; one sister, Lillie Mae Bookless of San Jacinto, Calif.; one brother, Paul Rond of Natchitoches, and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until noon Saturday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. MRS. ELEANOR DOWDEN NOLLEY Services for Mrs. Eleanor Dowden Nolley, 64, of Natchitoches, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2001 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Natchitoches. Mrs. Nolley died Wednesday, September 26, 2001 in Minden Medical Center. Mrs. Nolley was a native of Natchitoches. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Nolley of Natchitoches; three sons, Stanley Nolley, Tracy Nolley and his wife Yolanda of Natchitoches and Rick Nolley and his wife Joann of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah Nolley Lacaze and her husband Stephen of Natchitoches, and Patricia Nolley Sukhai of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Charlie Dowden of Natchitoches and Shadrick Dowden of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Lola Mae Garsee of Natchitoches; nine grandchildren, Shelly Lacaze, Daniel Lacaze, Yolisa Nolley, Raymond Nolley, Evan Nolley, Jennifer Nolley, Rick Caldwell, Renee Caldwell and Chelsie Sukhai. Visitation will be Friday, September 28 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday, September 29 from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. September 13, 2001 issue VIOLA B. AIRHART Memorial services for Viola B. Airhart, 89, of Natchitoches will be held Saturday, September 15, 2001 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception with Fr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Mrs. Airhart died Friday, September 7, 2001 in her residence at Natchitoches. She was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Natchitoches for the last 17 years. She was a former telephone operator for South Central Bell having worked for 13 years. Survivors include two sons, John R. Airhart of Natchitoches and Donald J. Airhart of Houma; one daughter, Norma Zachary of Pickens, S. C.; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. September 4, 2001 issue OREN BOSWELL Services for Oren Boswell, 72, of Provencal will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2001 at Provencal United Pentecostal Church in Provencal with the Rev. William Hassen and the Rev. Cecil Boswell officiating. Burial will follow in Provencal Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Boswell died Saturday, September 1, 2001, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a mechanic and school bus driver for the Natchitoches Parish School Board and a member of Provencal United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ida Robertson Boswell of Provencal; four daughters, Sharon Jennings of Provencal, Cathy Boswell of Provencal, Robbie Laffitte of Provencal and Frances Ward and husband, Robert, of Gilmer, Texas; nine grandchildren, Chris Jennings, Tonya Coe, Rachel Jennings, Jennifer Hassan, Hugh Ward, Randall Ward, Lisa Raynes, Ricky Sanders and Dawn Sanders; 11 great grandchildren, Christopher Jennings, Dylon Jennings, Blake Coe, Harley Hassan, Lauren Hassan, Ryan Ward, Conner Ward, Madison Raynes, Michael Sanders, William Sanders and Danielle Sanders; two great-great grandchildren, B. J. Sanders and Nicholas Sanders. Also surviving are four brothers, Rev. Earlee Boswell of Turkey Creed, Delmar Boswell of Hagewood, Nolan "Ed" Nelms of Shreveport and Billy Nelms of Tyler, Texas; three sisters, Earsel Robbins of Hagewood, Irene Foshee of Vowells Mill and Eloise Honeycutt of Shreveport, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chris Jennings, Hugh Ward, Zachary Hassan, Ricky Coe, Ricky Sanders, Davin Sanders, Jamey Robertson, Gary Robertson and Terry Boswell. Honorary pallbearers will be James Dodd, David Clark and Ted Tobin. MRS. NORMAN "SHIRLEY ANTLEY" RACHAL Services for Mrs. Norman "Shirley Antley" Rachal, 65, of Flora were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2001 at Weaver United Methodist Church in Flora with the Rev. Don Davis, the Rev. Frank Yount and Sister Peggy Maricelli officiating. Burial followed in Weaver Cemetery in Flora under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Mrs. Rachal died Thursday, August 30, 2001, in Natchitoches. Mrs. Rachal was a native of Natchitoches. She was a former clerk for Weaver Brothers Store in Flora and a member of secretary/treasurer at Weaver United Methodist Church in Flora. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Norman Rachal of Flora; a daughter, Sherry Cox, and her husband, Cornell, of Spanish Lake; a step-daughter, Brenda Dubois, and her husband, Danny, of Fort Jessup; a step-son, Johnny Rachal, and his wife, Beatrice, of Flora; two sisters, Ruth Crow and Katie Berry of Natchitoches; two brothers, Floyd Antley Sr. of Shreveport and Frank Antley of Athens, Texas; eight grandchildren, J. D. Cox and Terrell Dodd of Spanish Lake, Kyle Rachal and Brandi Rachal of Flora, Tammy Jones of Lake Charles, Alisa Yelverton of Fort Jessup, Russell Yelverton of Natchitoches and Susan DuBois of Montgomery; and three great grandchildren. MARGARET O'BANNON Memorial services for Margaret O'Bannon were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2001 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. O'Bannon died Friday, August 31, 2001 in Alexandria.
