Mrs. Octavia Pierce

  Mrs. Octavia Pierce, 96, of Boca Raton, Florida, died April 4,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services will be held in the Marthaville Methodist Church
Friday, April 7, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jay Caraway officiating.
burial will be in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank McKegney, and Mrs.
A. D. Frank, both of Boca Raton, Fla.; one son, R. U. Pierce of
Waxahachie, Tex.; two grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

  Mrs. Pierce was a native of Sabine Parish, and a former resident
of Marthaville.
