Dr. W. H. Pierson

  Dr. W. H. Pierson, known to many in Sabine Parish, was killed in a
two-car collision late Friday night near Ruston.

  Dr. Pierson organized the Toledo Bend Cultural and Historical Society
in this area, and restored an old home, "Dog Trot", on Toledo Lake.

  He was a resident of Natchitoches, and was active in Natchitoches
Parish affairs for many years.
