Mr. Pugh was the son of T. H. Pugh and the late Mrs. Pugh of Many, was a man of sterling qualities and numbered many friends in and near Many. Deceased is survived by his father, T. H. Pugh, of Many; brothers, Rex Pugh of Minden, H. T. Pugh of Shreveport, and H. Q. Pugh of Many; sisters, Mrs. W. M. Caskey, Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Cleve Cobb, Eudora, Ark., and Mrs. Work Gaddis of Marthaville. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Gaddis in Marthaville Saturday by the Rev. Pfost, pastor of the Pleasant Hill Methodist church. Rev. Pfost was assisted at the cemetery in Many by the Rev. J. M. Pate, pastor of Many Baptist church, and the Rev. W. T. Gray, pastor of the Many Methodist church.
