RHYMES The Natchitoches Times January 7, 1965 Rites Held For B. A. Rhymes Funeral services for Bill Allen Rhymes, 66, were held Wednesday at 3 PM in Goldonna Baptist Church with burial following in Goldonna Cemetery. Mr. Rhymes died Tuesday, Dec. 29, in a nursing home after a long illness. He was a retired logger of Ashland. Survivors are his widow; six sons, Willie Rhymes, Othel Rhymes, Robert Rhymes, and L. Z. Rhymes, all of Goldonna, J. C. Rhymes of Springhill, and Lynn Rhymes of the US Army; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Namee of Goldonna four brothers, Whit Rhymes of Springhill, Ed Rhymes of Winnfield, Starlin Rhymes of Forbing, and Luther Rhymes of Jonesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Stewart of Springhill, Mrs. Zelma Butler of Forbing, and Mrs Cynthia Blair of Monroe; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
