Robins, 80, of Robeline died in Heritage Manor Nursing Home on Friday, Jan 9 at 6:10 p.m. after an extended illness. He is survived by a wife, Rosa Lee Robbins of Robeline; four sons, Elgie Robbins of Abeline, Tex., Herman Robbins of Ft. Worth, Tex., Adrian Robbins of New Mexico, and Elven Robbins from Texas; three step-sons, Leroy and George Woodell, both of Robeline, J. E. Woodel of Zwolle; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Wilson of Weatherford, Tex., and Mrs. Lola Robbins of Abeline, Tex.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Bessie Floyd, and Mrs. Mertie Davis, all of Robeline, Mrs. Beatrice Sandifer of Shreveport, and one brother, Dave Robbins of Bronson, Tex. Officiating the funeral services held at Congregational Methodist Church of Robeline was the Rev. Earl Marr and the Rev. Wilmer Birdwell. Service was held Sunday, Jan 11 at 10 a.m. Burial was in Ft. Jessup Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
