Sanders Rond 
  
  Sanders Rond, 83, of Shreveport, died Saturday, Feb. 10, in P&S 
Hospital, after a brief illness. 
  
  A native of Natchitoches, he has lived in Shreveport 10 years. 
He was a farmer. 
  
  Funeral services for Mr. Rond were pending at First National 
Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Local arrangements were handled by 
Wellman's Funeral Home. 
  
  His survivors include five sons, J. S. Rond of Shreveport, Fred 
Rond of Hobbs, N. Mex., Wilmer Rond of Waskom, Tex., Ted Rond of 
Natchitoches, and Otis Rond of Florien; three daughters, Viola 
Ferguson, and Barbara Hartline, both of Shreveport, and Alfie 
Gilcrease of Natchitoches; 24 grandchildren, and 20 great 
grandchildren.
