Rev. Eugene Sattler

  The Rev. Eugene Sattler, 62, of Marthaville, died in Many, March 2,
at 2:35 a.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Chapel Friday,
Mar. 3, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Don Huckeba, and the Rev. John Eils
officiating. After the services in Many, the body of the Rev. Sattler
was sent by plane to the Beckman Funeral Home in Fredrickburg, Tex.,
for services there at 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 4. Interment was in
the Rode Cemetery in Cherry Springs, Texas, under the direction of
Beckman Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Laura Sattler of Marthaville;
four sons, Eugene Jr., Stanley, and Perry, all of Marthaville, and
Charles A. Sattler of Frierson; one daughter, Mrs. Pearlie Colston of
Many; two brothers, Walter Sattler of Kerrville, Tex., and Hugo Sattler
of Doss, Tex., and eight grandchildren.
