Sparks, 66, a resident of Robeline, died Friday night, Oct. 6, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, in the Harmony Baptist Church near Provencal, under the direction of the First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Cecil Sparks, and James P. Sparks, both of Orange, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Rogers of Provencal; two brothers, Tom J. Key of Natchitoches, and Luther Key of Gibson; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Turner of Robeline, Mrs. W. A. Lacy of Shreveport, and Mrs. Lettie Flynn of West Monroe; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
