Mr. Loyd "Pete" Stewart, age 81, of Goldonna, La., passed away Saturday, 
January 15, 2005, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Alexandria, La.  He  was 
a member of Goldonna Baptist Church.  Mr. Stewart served his country in the 
Army during World War II.  

He was the son of the late Vardell Stewart and the late Velia (Regions) 
Stewart.

He is survived by his 

One Daughter,
Janis Harris and her husband Ricky of Doyline, La.

Three Sons,
Jerry Stewart and his wife Jacqualine of Goldonna, 
La.                                     
Donnie Stewart and his wife Pam of Goldonna, 
La.                                     
Mike Stewart and his wife Diane of Goldonna, La.

Two Sisters,
Becky Fuller of Tioga, La.                                     
Ardell Takewell of Bentley, La.

Twelve grandchildren
Eight great-grandchildren       

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., 202 E. 
Lafayette St., Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 
PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2005.  Friends may visit the family at the 
Goldonna Baptist Church from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, January 16, 2005.  
Funeral services will be at Goldonna Baptist Church at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 
16, 2005 , with Rev. Jessie Byrd and Rev. Doyle McGrew officiating.  Interment 
will be at Goldonna Cemetery
