Stille 22 Jul 1938 - Funeral services for N. A. Stille, 67, of Robeline, who died at the Converse sanitarium on Saturday night were held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Robeline Baptist church. Dr. W. H. Knight conducted the services. Burial was in the Robeline cemetery. Deceased is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Harold L. Russell of Robeline, and Mrs. Twyman J. Brouillette of Flora. Mr. Stille had been in the mercantile business in Robeline for 49 years. he was born in Sabine Town, Texas, but came to live in Many, La., when a boy, where his father went into business. Mr. Stille came to live in Robeline when he as 18. He was first connected in business with is brother, the late W. B. Stille, at that time a merchant. Mr. Stille was the youngest and last living member of the pioneer family of Joseph D. Stille of Many. In 1901 the firm of Stille & Yarbrough was organized, of which Mr. Stille was president until his death. He was superintendent of the Baptist Sunday school for a quarter of a century, and was also senior deacon of his church.
