OBITUARY

On February 4, 1896, a baby boy was born to Hubbard VAUGHN and Ella ADAMS
VAUGHN, in Campti, Louisiana. He confessed Christ at an early age, under the
administration of the late Rev. A.J.Harris, Sr. of St. Peter Baptist Church in
Campti, Louisiana

God called him from labor to rest , December 2, 1984 at 11:30 A.M.
JOSEPH VAUGHN was a Honorary Mason and a member of Lodge # 14 in Richmond,
California .

He leaves to mourn a devoted wife, Mrs. Mattie D. VAUGHN ; two daughters,
Leola ALCORN of Houston , Texas and Jereline STEVENS of Hosston, Louisiana ;
one brother Richard VAUGHN of Vallajo, California ; twenty -six grandchildren,
seventy great-grandchildren, fifty great-great-grandchildren; one first cousin
and a host of other relatives and friends.
INTERNMENT - Golden Gate Cemetery (Houston, Texas)
