Charlie Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery in Robeline under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis. A native of Fisher, Mr. Williams died Wednesday, April 11, 2002, in Natchitoches after a lengthy illness. He was a retired butcher and a member of First Baptist Church in Robeline. He was also a member of the Robeline Masonic Lodge #344 and the Nakatosh Shrine Club. Survivors include a sister, Margurite Smith of Rosepine, and a brother, James W. Williams of Conroe, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Sibley Williams. Pallbearers will be Larry, Jerry, George and Dean Lambert, Dr. Robert Alost and Wes Alost. Honorary pallbearers will be the Robeline Masonic Lodge. Visitation will be Friday, April 12 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
