They lived at Creston, Louisiana. Darby Powhatan Eaves was born May 15, 1860 in Toomsuba,Lauderdale County, Mississippi. He died April 3, 1931 in Creston. His wife was Mary Ann Elkins Eaves. She was born May 24, 1869 in Louisiana and died July 19, 1934 in Creston. Her parents were John W. Elkins and Samantha Jane Durbin ( the former widow of James M. Walker). Additional Comments: Darby Eaves wife,Mary Ann Elkins, had a half sister that was named Louisiana Jane Walker (1855-1950).She was born in Natchitoches Parish and married Jeremiah (Jerry) Duplissey. At the time of Mary Ann Elkins Eaves death, Jane Duplissey lived in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. After her husband, Jerry, died she moved to Glenmora in Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
