NATCHITOCHES.
A distressing and fatal accident occurred near Bulah in ward five of this
parish last Saturday week.  A boy was cleaning a gun when Miss Lucy Debose,
a young lady about 19 years old, who was in the house at the time, passed in
front of where the boy was sitting, when the gun was accidentally
discharged, and the load of buck shot passed through her thigh, inflicting a
wound from which she died the following day. – Review.
