Dodd as Principal, and James H. Hicks as security, are held and firmly bound unto his Excellency the Governor of the State of Louisiana, in the full sum of Five Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, by these presents. Dated at Natchitoches, La., this 3d day of October A. D., 1904. Whereas a License has been this day issued by the Clerk of the District Court, in and for the Parish of Natchitoches, to unite in the Bonds of Matrimony the above bounden Louis G. Dodd and Miss Rosa S. Beasley. Now, Therefore, the condition of the above obligation is such, that if there exist no legal impediment to this alliance, then the said obligation to be null and void, else to remain in full force and virtue in law.
