The following is the marriage bond, license, and verbal process of marriage
between Louis Griswold DODD and Rosa Sophia BEASLEY (my grandparents).

MARRIAGE BOND
State of Louisiana Parish of Natchitoches
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That we Louis G. Dodd as Principal, and James H. Hicks as security, are
held and firmly bound unto his Excellency the Governor of the State of
Louisiana, in the full sum of Five Hundred Dollars, for the payment of
which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors
and administrators, jointly and severally, by these presents.

Dated at Natchitoches, La., this 3d day of October A. D., 1904.

Whereas a License has been this day issued by the Clerk of the District
Court, in and for the Parish of Natchitoches, to unite in the Bonds of
Matrimony the above bounden Louis G. Dodd and Miss Rosa S. Beasley.

Now, Therefore, the condition of the above obligation is such, that if
there exist no legal impediment to this alliance, then the said obligation
to be null and void, else to remain in full force and virtue in law.

MARRIAGE LICENSE

To any Person Authorized to Celebrate Marriages, in and for the Parish of
Natchitoches GREETING:
You are hereby Licensed and permitted to unite in the Holy Bonds of
Matrimony, according to law and established rules, Mr. Louis G. Dodd and
Miss Rosa S. Beasley.
Witness, my and an Seal of Office as Clerk of the District Court, in and
for Parish of Natchitoches this 3 day of Oct A.D., 1904

PROCESS VERBAL OF MARRIAGE
State of Louisiana Parish of Natchitoches

BE IT REMEMBERED.
That by virtue of a License issued by the Clerk of the District Court of
the Parish of Natchitoches, I, Andrew c. Presley have celebrated marriage
between Mrs. Louis G. Dodd and Rosa S. Beasley and have joined them
together in Holy Wedlock, according to law, this 13 day of Oct A.D., 1905.
