  Be it known that we Philip Goin and Kesiah Nash have this day and do by these presents in consideration of a marriage to be this day solemnized between us mutually agree and contract with each other to acknowledge and recognize as legitimate children of said marriage our two children, Michael and Rebecca, born before the same and they are hereby declared and acknowledged by us as legitimate and entitled to all the rights to which they would have been entitled if born subsequent to said marriage.
   
  In testimony of which we have signed these presents this 2nd day of January 1815.
