Marriage record of Daniel Perry Lockwood and Mary Laplace on March
1, 1824 - found in Book 15, page 24, - "Miscellaneous Records in Natchitoches
Parish".


No. 523.  
 Be it remembered that on this first day of March in the year of our  Lord One
thousand eight hundred and twenty four, I , John C. Carr, parish Judge of the
parish of Natchitoches in the State of Louisiana, did, in my office, in the
Town of Natchitoches and in the parish, in presence of the undersigned
witnesses, the necessary requisitions of laws having been first complied with, 
join in the holy bonds of matrimony Mr. Daniel Perry Lockwood and Miss Mary
Laplace, daughter of Mr. John Laplace and Elizabeth, his wife, all of said
parish. 

In Testimony whereof,  the said parties and the undersigned witnesses, have
signed these presents with one said judge the day and year above written.=D.
P. Lockwood = Mary Lockwood x-her mark-declaring she could not write =
John Laplace = Witness...Robt. Ritter, -- E. Bradly = Jn. Virchet = John C.
