ANDREW SCOTT & VIRGINIA HARRIS - 1906



MARRIAGE BOND 
State of Louisiana--Parish of Natchitoches. 
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That we Andrew Scott as principal, and Matthew Jones as security, are held and
firmy bound unto his Excellency the Governor of the State of Louisiana, in the
full sum of Five Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to
be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly
and severally, by these presents.  

Dated at Natchitoches, La., this 17 day of February A.D., 1906
Whereas a License has been this day issued by the Clerk of the District Court,
in and for the Parish of Natchitoches to unite in the Bonds of Matrimony the
above bounden Andrew Scott and Virginia Harris.  

Now, Therefore, the condition of the above obligation is such, that if there
exist no-legal impediment to this alliance, then the said obligation to be
null and void, else to remain in full force and virtue in law.

according to law ans established rules, 
Mr. Andrew Scott and Virginia Harris  
Witness, my hand and Seal of Office as Clerk of the District Court , in and
for the Parish of Natchitoches theis 17th day of February A.D., 1906

STATE OF LOUISIANA--PARISH OF NATCHITOCHES. 
     

Be it known that on this day before me, the undersigned authority personally
came and appeared Andrew Scott, who being by me duly sworn, deposes and says
that Virginia Harris for whom he wishes to obtain a license to marry, is
neither his sister of the whole or half blood, legitimate or illegitimate, nor
his aunt, neice, nor his first cousin.
