Directions: Take Mississippi River Bridge to the West Bank.  Take General
DeGaulle Exit (***Dee don't remember if it is west or east...please fill in).
 At first red light (Shirley Drive) turn left.  Go to end of Shirley Drive
and turn left on General Meyer Avenue.  About a mile down (road changes names
to Opelousas Ave) turn left on Verret St.  About 3 blocks down, located on
the right, the first Cemetery. Located on Verret St, the entrance is actually
on Nunez St.  It is maintained by the Church of the Holy Name of Mary (parish
founded in 1848, church built in 1929)

The Archives office (extension #3) is open Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30 am-2:30
pm.
They will do look-ups for a "donation" of $10.00

This is the entrance gate of St. Mary's, located on Nunez St.
