Georgia granite curbing, Vermont granite urns with the designers patent number inscribed in the front of each. Daniel Moriarty and his wife Mary Farrell were both immigrants from Ireland. He is buried in a vault under grass mound. Four statues are : Faith, Hope, Charity and Memory (who holds a wreath of immortelles) but lore sometimes says the fourth is Mrs. Moriarty. The tallest in Metairie Cemetery, the statues are life size and the cross from the arms down is high enough for a man to stand under.
