Cheard, Judge. THIS DAY, Personally came and appeared in open Court, William Bulger A Native of Ireland, And Having Proved, to the satisfaction of the Court, that he arrived In the United States in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty four, being then a Minor, under Eighteen years of age. And It Also Being Proven, to the satisfaction of the Court, on the Oaths of Arthur Gillan And John Cohrs Citizens of the United States, that the said Wm. Bulger has Resided within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States for upward of Five years immediately preceeding the date of this application, And within the limits of the State of Louisiana, where this Court is now holden, for more than One year; and that he has behaved as a man of good Moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well-disposed to the good order and happiness of the same; and That it was bona fide his Intention three years previous to the present period, to become A Citizen of the United States And the said Wm. Bulger Having taken the Oath required by the Fist Section of the Act of Congress, Entitled “An Act to Establish a Uniform Rule of Naturalization, and to Repeal the Acts heretofore Passed on that subject,” and by the First Section of an Act of Congress, entitled “An Act in Further Addition to an Act to Establish a Uniform Rule of Naturalization, and to Repeal the Acts heretofore Passed on the Subject” THE COURT THEREUPON ORDERS, that the same be entered on Record and that the said Wm.
