IN THE UNITED STATES COURT for the Eastern District of Louisiana }SS
I, John Carreras DO DECLARE on Oath, that it is bona fide my intention 
to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and to renounce 
forever all allegience and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, 
state or sovereignty whatever, and particulary to the Queen of Spain 
of whom I am now a citizen or subject.  Sworn to before me, this Twenty 
second day of April 18(3 struck out)46.
