I made my declaration of intention to become a citizen of the United States of America, on the _______ day of _______, 1877. (Scratch out) I have resided for one year at least within the limits of the State of Louisiana, to wit: at New Orleans since the _____ day of ______, 1877 during the whole of which said time behaved myself as a man of good moral chaacter, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. I have never borne any Hereditary Title or been of any order of Nobility, whatsoever, and I Saverio Tedesco DO SOLEMNY SWEAR, I do now absolutely and renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, particularly to the King of Italy to whom I have hitherto owed allegiance; and that I will, to the best of my ability support to the Constitution of the United States of America. New Orleans, August 29, 1883 On this Day Personally Appeared John B Rossi and S. Trapani who being duly sworn, severally depose and say, that they are Citizens of the United States of America.
