Transcriber Remarks:  We don't know if these people all died in New Orleans 
or not.
 

The following info is from a record that James Welsh, Walsh kept in a small 
notebook that would have fit in his pocket, and later added to by someone 
else.
 
James Washington Fitzpatrick
Born the 22nd of February 1861
and departed this life on the 12th of July 1862 aged 16 months and 20 days, 
may his soul rest in peace.
 
 
John Fitzpatrick born on the 9th day of January
May he live long in happiness and Amen
 
 
My beloved daughter born on the first of May 44 aged 19 years and 6 months
Writing by me James Welch on the first day of November 1863
 
 
William Whealon born on the 20 of September
and now departed this life on the 3rd of October
aged 12 months and 20 days may his soul rest in peace

Please pay the bearer Mr or McKernan $3.75 balance due to him discharged and 
by so doing you will much oblige me

New Orleans August the 6th 1863 or 1865 this in memory of the departed 
friends and husbands?, may they rest in peace.
 
Either Pastor or Peter Napry (not sure of this word) departed this life on 
the ___aged__may his soul rest in peace and Amen.
 
Also his beloved Father William Welch departed this life on the 6th of 
September 53 may his soul rest in peace and Amen.
 
Mary Demullen/McMullen departed this life on the 6th of December 1855 may her 
soul rest in peace Amen
 
Michael Welch departed this life on the 11th of May.  May his soul rest in 
peace Amen.
 
Catherine Welch departed this life on the 13 of August 1858 aged 2 years and 
4 months may her soul rest in peace Amen.
 
Ellan Welch departed this life on the 11 of June 1860 aged 2 years and 4 
months may her soul rest in peace Amen
 
James Walsh departed this life on 29th of June 1864 Aged 65 years,
may his soul rest in peace and Amen.
 
Eliza Walsh departed this life
the 16th of September 1865 aged 55
years may her soul rest in peace and Amen
