Tarver, J. H. Brown, R. W. Harvey, D. H. Clark, Charles G. Battallora, Jr., Andrew Colbert, Fred W. Schneidau, Rodman Ross, Bert N. Jewett, Thomas D. Dimitry, Jr., Frank V. McEntee and A. V. Brow. Captain Edmunds announced the following among those who applied at the armory Monday: Pierre Malochee, 1337 Esplanade avenue; Leon Newman, 327 Bourbon; Harvey N. May, 1316 Arabella; William H. Leibe, 814 State street; William W. Oser, 1325 Nashville avenue; Felix Fraenkel, 2114 Marengo street, and Charles H. Aitkinson, 610 Baronne street; Edward P. Lorentz, 1017 St. Philip; Leonce L. Villere, 3114 Dauphine; John A. Peyroux, 1903 Frenchmen. ********************************************************************* Excerpts from The Times Picayune March 29, 1917 Lieutenant La Bounty, in charge of the local office of the United States Navy Recruiting Service, said twelve men applied at the Common street office Wednesday and nine were accepted. Eight of the recruits are from New Orleans and one is from Shreveport, La. They are: F. G. Gerard, L. G. Coleman, S. J. Davis, T. H. Bourgeois of Shreveport, C. H. Tucker, L. C. Dubourg, P. D. Demarest, C. P. Harrison and C. M. Wynes, 1715 Baronne; George H. Wigginton, 1246 Constance; James Baas, 1622 Spain; Jack William Allen, 622 St. Patrick; William A. Fournier, 730 Napoleon; Alexander Weiss, 2830 First; Calancho Algio, 1519 Ursuline; Peter Frederoff, 2853 Tonti; Armond L. Hullinghorst, 2442 Bayou Road; Carl L. Randolph, 1024 Marigny; Henry Springiel, West End; and Joseph Lafon, 423 Dauphine. The following applications were received at army headquarters in the Masonic Temple: Lee E. Smith, Pineville, LA; Brognier Guidroz, Breaux Bridge, LA; Edward Hire, Crowley, LA.; Morris Weinburg, New Orleans; Mark Williams, New Orleans. The marine corps received the following applications: Charles E. Morley, James W. O'Nell, Arthur G. Garrie, Walter M.
