I will require The services of Felix Borne a ship Carpenter in the Algiers Guards 30th La Regiment now at Port Hudson. I therefore respectfully request that he Be detailed to work on the vessel Which is now in progress of building At this place. Provided however that if the said Felix Borne should Leave this service for any cause except Disability or upon the completion of This work he will promptly report The fact to the officer commanding To Resply Maj Genl Beal Thos Weldon (signed) Commanding at Port Hudson projector & builder CS War Steamer State of Mississippi Yazoo County Before me M.
