The Court Ordered An Injunction To Issue Restraining The Keeper Of This Lock-Up From Receiving Or Confining In The Said Lock-Up Any Prisoners Until The Further Order Of The Court. This Was A Suit For The Owner For The Freedom Of Two Claves, Adele And Marie Louise, Under The New Law Which Requires Actions For The Emancipation Of Slaves To Be Brought Against The State, And To Be Conducted Contradictorily With It Before A Jury. Verdict Granting Freedom To The Slaves With The Privilege Of Remain In The State.
