Signor Giovanni Rocchi has held the office of president for twenty-five years, so the feast yesterday was a golden one with a sprinkling of silver. There were a large number of guests present, besides a full membership. An elegant banquet was spread at which wine, wit and eloquence flowed. It was a delightful affair and one which will be long remembered by all who enjoyed the liberal and whole-souled hospitality of the society. Following are the officers of the society; Giovanni Rocchi, president; Gustavao Mazzi, first vice president; A. L. Bicocchi, second vice president; R. Arlatti, secretary of the archives; Lorenzo Cipriani, secretary of finance, and G. Pumilia, treasurer. Following is the standing committee having in charge the affairs of the society: Ales. Mutti, F. Liciardi, F. Fait, P. Comparetti, C. Gussoni, A. L. Rubino, S. Sbarbaro, P. Rumi, C. Cavani. The relief committee is composed of Messrs. F. Liciardi, G. Rocchi, F. Fait, L. Cipriani, R. Ariatti, G. Rumiano. Dr. F. Formento is the physician, and G. Rumiano is the collector. NOTE - This was a misprint - It should be 50th.
